One entity equals one set of books

Seat pricing punishes you for sharing information inside your own company. It means the person who most needs to see the numbers is often the person without a login.

Finley prices on legal entities, because entities are what make finance hard. One company with one ledger is a straightforward month. Six companies with intercompany transactions between them is a week of someone’s life, every month, forever.

Users are generous at every tier. Bank and data connections are unlimited at every tier. The more of your business Finley can see, the better it works — we are never going to charge you for showing us more.

A legal entity means a distinct general ledger or a distinct federal tax ID. Dormant entities with no transaction activity don't count.

Most middle-market companies run in what we call the Operator’s Fog.

The gap between what is happening in your business and what your finance function can see clearly enough to act on. That gap closes the day Finley reads your books.

In the fog

A pricing decision made without knowing your true cash position.

With FinleyCash across every entity, read this morning, before the call.

A major vendor payment approved without knowing it lands in payroll week.

With FinleyThe overlap flagged before you approve, with the week it hits.

A cash shortfall discovered when it is already a problem.

With FinleyThe shortfall named while it is still a planning issue, thirteen weeks out.

Finley does not wait for the books to close to tell you what is happening. It tells you now, in plain language, the way a CFO would at your Monday briefing.

Questions

How is this different from my accounting software?

QuickBooks records what happened. Finley reads it — tells you what it means, what's coming in the next thirteen weeks, and what your business is worth. Your accountant closes the month. Finley works between the closes.

Do I need to switch systems?

No. Finley connects to what you already run.

What if you don't connect to my system?

We'll build it. See custom integrations above — most take a few weeks.

Why is it priced by legal entity?

Because that’s what makes finance hard. See "One entity equals one set of books" above.

What counts as a legal entity?

A distinct general ledger or a distinct federal tax ID. Dormant entities with no activity don't count.

How long does setup take?

Clarity is self-serve — connect your accounting software and your dashboard populates the same day. Command takes about two weeks with our team. Counsel depends on how customized your ERP is; we'll scope it before you sign anything.

What happens when I add an entity?

On Clarity, you can run up to three. On Command, ten are included and additional entities are $500 a month. On Counsel, entities are unlimited — acquire without a pricing conversation.

Can I change plans?

Upgrade any time; we'll prorate. Downgrade at renewal.

Your whole structure, read every morning. The next decision made with the numbers already in hand.
